It is always a privilege and honour when people choose us to create photographs of their really special moments… moments like your first child about to come into the world. The wonderful Charmaine and Andrew choose us to do just that last weekend, and we had an absolute blast…. High-res

Just got back in the studio from a fantastic shoot for a wonderful family in Newfarm Brisbane. Three beautiful children, Issy who’s 5 1/2, Olly who’s 2 1/2 and precious new little Ava. It’s both a challenge and a joy shooting in someone’s home; the joy come’s in finding those amazing moments in the home where the children feel at home… the challenges come by the same fact: the kids feel at home so they generally get over it quicker. But overall i really enjoy doing what we used to call “environmental portraits” - people in their own environment. AND to top it all off, i am sucker for gorgeous old queenslanders.  - DJ Paine High-res
